Open Letter to The British Empire:

Dear British Friends, Allies, and Family,

We are mortified at President Obama’s horrible behavior toward British Prime Minister The Right Honourable Gordon Brown during his very recent visit to Washington DC.

Although we did not vote for Mr. Obama we are no less a citizens of these United States of America, and as such we feel we must apologize on behalf of this once great nation. It is with great sorrow and tearful regret that we try to articulate how very, very sorry we are for this government’s appalling behavior.

Mr. Obama and the State Department have obviously failed miserably to represent the overwhelming majority of this country’s citizens’ love, affection, and undying appreciation and precious connection we feel toward the great British Empire for her loyalty and friendship.

We feel that Mr. Obama’s actions and inactions toward Great Britain are akin to slighting a close family member; this hurts us at our core. He has not only injured the USA’s relationship with Britain but has trampled on our noble ancestral connections to Great Britain as well.

We hope there will be a formal apology and reparation forthcoming from the administration, but it may be a hope that will never be realized.
